FAQs

    • Where do you live when you are home in the U.S.? We live in Tyrone, GA. [See Contact Us]
    • How long have you been in full-time ministry to missionaries? 9+ years as of July 2009
    • How long are your trips to the mission field? We have been willing to go anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 mos depending on the need, logistics and finances.
    • How are you supported? We are a completely faith-supported ministry! We trust the LORD to provide all of our funds for living both stateside and ministering overseas. We receive no remuneration from any of the mission entities that we visit. As such it is from individual partners and a few churches that we receive all of our support.
    • Are contributions to your ministry tax-deductible? YES! We are a legally constituted 501c3 not-for-profit corporation set up in the state of Georgia. All contributions to our ministry are tax-deductible and partners are receipted for each contribution.
    • How do you decide where to go? [OR, If a mission group wants you to come how do they go about making arrangements?] We go by invitation only to any group that would invite us and we are able to fit it into our schedule.
    • What are your current financial needs? – Currently we are about $1,000/mo BELOW our needed support level. [See how to give to our ministry]
      • REMINDER: We need to raise ALL of our finances for living both at home in the states and on the fields where we minister. Everything is costly as you well know from your lives! To give you an idea… Each major trip costs about $8,000+! This includes roundtrip airfare, supplemental insurance, housing, food and all travel in-country. At the present time we are also in need of replacement of both computers. They are getting older & slower (kind of like us!). The computers really take a beating as we travel.
    • Where do you live while overseas? - Actually we live either in a missionary compound or a fellow missionary’s home in the adjacent community that’s on furlough or with a missionary family! [not always ideal!] We do live fairly western, but life is never quite like home.
    • What do you eat while overseas? - We tend to eat fairly western also. We take peanut butter and Crystal Light with us. We tend to eat a lot of eggs, tuna, chicken and oatmeal.
